Nineteen international companies have expressed interest in participating in the tender announced by Bulgargaz EAD for the supply of LNG for the months of January and February 2025 at the Alexandroupolis Terminal, Greece. All the candidates met the criteria set by Bulgargaz EAD and were admitted to participate in the next stage of the tender procedure - submission of binding offers. At the end of next week, it will be clear which companies have submitted the most competitive bids.
It should be recalled that at the end of August, Bulgargaz EAD announced 3 tenders for the supply of a total of 5 cargoes (5 000 000 MWh) of LNG within its booked capacity at the Alexandroupolis Terminal. In the first tender, for the month of October, 10 international companies expressed interest, and in the tender for November and December a total of 13 international companies participated. Bulgargaz expects the increased interest to result in competitive prices for the company's customers during the winter period.
